DIALOGUES | Part 4 TO//TWO//TOO

  • STABLE 336 Randolph Place Northeast Washington, DC, 20002 United States (map)

To/Two/Too is a series of five short conversations between ten STABLE artists who work closely (literally or figuratively.) Each artist/pair is either sharing a studio (or post studio) at STABLE, had an existing relationship prior to moving to STABLE, or both. We've asked participating artists in To//Two//Too to respond to a series of prompts, and to prepare questions, they might not ordinarily ask one another.

Moderator: Michela LeFrak (hopefully!)

Artists:

Stephen Benedicto/Matt Storm

Nancy Daly/ Rex Selafkaran

Aziza Gibson-Hunter/Gail Shaw-Clemons

Melvin Nesbitt/Any Yoder

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Curated by nationally recognized Dr. Jordan Amirkhani, Dialogues exclusively features the work of the first cohort of STABLE artists and includes over 35 works, ranging from site-specific installation, photography, painting, and sculpture.

“Dialogues invites viewers to discover what is happening inside STABLE’s studios, celebrate the founding of this unique organization, and support a community of artists nurtured by an ethics of inclusion, equity, radical generosity, and dialogue.” - Dr. Jordan Amirkhani
